New in 2022-2023, competitors may use material from a variety of sources in Supplemental Poetry if they choose. A Supplemental Poetry piece may consist of the entirety of one poem, a cutting of a long poem, a collection of shorter works or cuttings of longer works by one poet arranged in a program, or a collection of shorter works or cuttings of longer works by multiple poets from multiple different sources. Keep in mind that other organizations, including specific states, may have rules with regard to Poetry that may differ from our rules.
