Thanks to a generous sponsor any donation to the local host fund, up to $10,000, will be matched. Give today to help the Iowa steering committee take on the awesome responsibility of hosting the centennial National Tournament for over 10,000 students, educators, volunteers, and guests. Your support will help reduce the overhead costs associated with hosting, which will directly lead to more scholarship money for the Friends of Iowa Speech & Debate fund. The dollars raised will be used to promote programming as well as financial aid based scholarships to attend the National Tournaments in 2026 and 2027. Questions? National Speech & Debate Tournament
The National Speech & Debate Tournament marks the capstone of speech and debate activities for more than 140,000 members across the country. The student competitors represent the best and brightest young people across the United States and the globe. The tournament is a moving reminder of how the skills students learn in speech and debate empower them to be changemakers, advocates, and future leaders of our world.
