Debate Camp has operated academic-enrichment summer camps in public speaking, debate and Model UN, across Canada since 2002 and in several Northeastern United States locations since 2015. Debate Camp aims to empower students with the skills of effective communication and teamwork through the avenues of debate and public speaking. The goal of our program is to create informed and articulate global citizens in a fun and exciting learning environment.
Debate Camp is seeking dynamic and experienced applicants to join our teams in summer 2025 in the position of Program Staff. The ideal candidate has a high level of proficiency in debate (typically parliamentary style, albeit styles background in public forum and or policy is not a barrier to application) public speaking and / or Model United Nations.
The ideal candidate is intuitive and aware of what is required to teach and inspire youth and has an understanding of the responsibilities inherent in education and supervision of youth in a camp setting. We seek creative, hard working, collaborative team members who can inspire interest in debate, role model and help curate the debate skills we strive for with our program — and always, work well with youth.
